The big Screaming Chicken decal was indeed a stock option on 85 & 86 Trans Ams only. They had the exact same hood as the GTA in this video those years & the Chicken fits perfectly between the 4 vents on the hood. It was a $400 option in 85 & 86. It REALLY pops on this car. Its not as big as the 70's bird & is an outline vs the filled in 70's bird. It's still giant though. It struck the perfect balance imho ⚖️

I had a 74 455HO and a 75 400 and the 400 was quicker than the 455.

I wish he’d given more details about the (non police package)Adam 12 TV car.I’d heard before that it -unlike the real LAPD cars -had power steering.I assumed it had the correct 383 in it (though)as it sounded great (road runner ish).

My older brother served in the US Army in the 90's and when he got discharged he drove back home from Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Los Angeles, California with a 1984 Blue Monte Carlo SS and made it all the way! He gave it to my Dad and we loved it for years since we grew up in the 80's with his 1982 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that my Dad engine swapped the V6 to an IROC Camero 350 V8! My brother was in need and my Dad gave him back the Monte Carlo SS and my brother sold it. Biggest mistake ever! My Dad is still to this day pissed off that my older brother sold it! Great memories and great times cruising around that mean Monte Carlo SS in LA! We may end up getting one again....
